Ah, rants. There's nothing more satisfying than having a bloody-minded opinion on something and being able to go on about it at length without anyone interrupting you ... until, that is, you leave university. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the majority of rants in my writing history were published in the Massey University student paper Chaff, although the last two on this list were published in The Big Issue in Australia. Watch out for indelicate language and the occasional abuse of innocent statistics.
